PERNOPASTA offers a large variety of traditional Italian pasta products of unquestionable quality and outstanding nutritional value: Maccheroni Calabresi, fusilli, spirals looking like hollow spools, Orechiette, speciality from Apulia, shaped like little ears, Cavatelli, South Italian speciality from Calabria, Apulia Strozzapreti, South Italian speciality (means: ‘strangled priest’), as well as the whole range of other favorite and well-known pasta varieties (please see product list on Home page).
At PERNOPASTA it is our intention to meet the requirements of the market and to satisfy our valued customers in terms of the highest standards in quality. In our production process at PERNOPASTA we use only the best quality of durum wheat semolina which is treated with absolutely bacteria-free, pure water. We thus obtain a pasta dough, rich in proteins and typical for the long-standing tradition of our famous Mediterranean cuisine.
The quality and the nutritional value of the raw materials which we use in the production of our pasta products are continuously monitored by specialized food laboratories.

PERNOPASTA takes pride in its unparalleled method of production which combines the good old tradition in pasta making as well as modern technologies.
A special process of pasteurization at high temperature enables us to reduce the microbic charge of the raw materials, increasing the shelf -life of our products to a large extent. The process of drying is enhanced by a special technology which allows us to increase the temperature in progressive stages thus preserving the nutritional value and exceptional taste of our products.
Due to its state of the art production facilities and to the qualification of its workforce PERNOPASTA is able to produce a quantity of 1500 kilos of high quality pasta a day.
Packaging and storage of our PERNOPASTA products are carried out subject to the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. Our pasta products are - in line with market requirements - pre-packaged in 500 gram units, using see-through-bags (see photo catalogue on Home page). But format as well as quantities can always be adjusted to our customers’ special requirements.

The PERNOPASTA factory is located in Vibo Valentia, a province of Calabria, the southern most part of Italy at the ‘toe” of the Italian peninsula. People in this area mainly live on agriculture, life-stock breeding and small artisan business.

Situated on the picturesque plateau of ‘Monte Poro’, approximately 12 km south west of the capital Vibo Valentia (province and capital are of the same name) the PERNOPASTA company sits on an area of ca 4000 square meters ( 12,000 square feet) in the small village of Rombiolo.
